"Civilized Dreams" followed in the manipulated path created by "Night Dance" and culminated into my first one person gallery exhibit. The title was changed by the gallery without my consent from "Dreams, Civilization, and Car Accidents." I created what I called dreams, many heavily manipulated color images depicting dreams. This work was constructed out of slide images from my past and manipulated into personal dreamscapes. These are 4 of my favorites from that period. The images "Into a Dream", "Still Asleep", and "I Just Stop" were printed as huge Cibachromes measuring almost 40 x 60 inches. The image "Temptation" was taken in 1980 in a graveyard in Scotland.
