"This photograph was taken in a remote desert of Peru. The people are Native Americans, they are the people who made the Nazca Lines and the large drawings of animals on the desert floor. I took the image in 1983 and colored it in 1987. The mummified remains were exposed when their grave were robed in the 1930's. I saw acres of exposed bones at this sight. Another title could be "Mixed Bones" (The Harmony of the Dead) No cries, No laughter, No wind. This is the first time I printed and exhibited this work." 1992 Print
