My desire is to reinterpret everyday events and
present them as thought provoking images.
It is never the same, but there are those times
when you know that you have to record an unfolding event. The resulting
light from weather and time of day are key ingredients in making dramatic
photographs. This 5:00 am. sunrise image of a Lake Harriet runner was
captured with the camera 4 inches above the waterline from the shore of
the lake. What appeared to be a never-ending 2003 spring & summer
storm caused the lake water to spill over and beyond its shoreline. Two
clear days was enough time for the water to recede exposing the running
path, runner & the reflected lake view.
