This is the first in what I hope to be a much larger series of set-up, surreal images that challenge our perception of reality.  I am focusing this new work on the truths and un-truths you see when you look out a window.  Recently I have been gaining much inspiration from reading books by Charles deLint whose work focuses on how close the world of faery can exist to ours.  Reading his books has allowed me to loosen up in how I present reality in my work.
