My first afternoon in Oxford I wandered through Christ Church College and found this couple in a passageway beneath the cathedral. I knew they were the parents of the bride or groom, because I’d seen a wedding party at the front of the church. They were nervous and fidgety, and spoke very little. I made a number of exposures, and they never caught on. They apparently thought I was just a young shutterbug with an interest in memorial plaques and statuary.
