Felt tip pen and color pencil
I have always liked these pieces on this watercolor paper. When I did
them they just rolled out. I was experimenting with styles and mixing
ink with colored pencil.
I was experimenting with my materials a lot. Came across this thick water
color paper and did as many drawings as sheets of paper. I think it came
in a drawing book or pad of ten sheets that you can get at any art supply
store.
All of the figures represent me. That’s me being me, exploring, changing
directions at the same time I am noticing the beauty of a tree.
I wanted to animate my drawings; one way was to give the viewers eyes
paths to follow.
