ICEBOX GALLERY presents an international juried group
exhibit entitled "Love in 2001".
The thirty-six participating artists are from the United States and
Canada. The artwork included give free access to each artist's
own expression into their personal meaning of "love". The
media includes: glass, sculpture, furniture, painting, drawing, collage
and photography.
Images of love from all over Minnesota, greater United
States and Canada will be on view at Icebox Gallery. Curated by gallery
owner Howard M. Christopherson, the "Love
in 2001" exhibit features recent artwork of all types that
expresses the individual artist's take on Humankind's most
intimate emotion. "I was desiring, when I asked for submissions,
to see recent artwork that carries the viewer into the most intimate
place inside the artist's heart. This group of artwork embraces
mixed styles and media in the way a bracelet connects it's charms."-

Searched for and expressed by 36 artists, love is: blind,
young, old, sexual, distorted, joyful, painful, real, dreamed of, stalked,
affection, benevolence, tempted, tenderness, together and alone in the
span of forty mixed media artworks included in this show.
