I have been exploring my "inner world"
by focusing my camera on reflected distortions of the "outer world".
This photograph documents a reality; it is not manipulated by a computer.
This desired effect creates a photographic image that looks a lot like
a drawing or painting. I call this ongoing series "Between the Moments"
because it represents a delicate and fleeting perspective of this world.
This particular perspective and range of vision comes to me directly from
interactions with the muse (model) during the time of the exposure. The
title "Odalisque" creates a link with like-titled paintings
of a reclining nude woman created over and over by several artists going
back over 500 years.
