SKIN 2003 part 2 index

On March 8, 2003, International Women Day, I photographed 150 nude women with some children & babies in Santa Fe New Mexico; in the form of a peace sign. This image is part of the on going international Baring Witness protest that started in Northern California in late 2002 to passionately protest the "war" on Iraq.
It was a clean crisp morning and using my friend David's 20 mm lens I stood on an eight foot ladder to make this image. Carolyn Lee who organized this action is making an oversized postcard of the image that will be for sale here in Santa Fe. I have been asked to have "Meditation for Peace" included in the Baring Witness Book.
