This work is about my inner struggles between being
a wife and a mother and the desire to pursue my passions. It is a reflection
of the battle that takes place between caring for the life that I have
helped create and wanting to create a life for myself. I see the universe
as endless and with all possibilities at hand but in the same glance I
see the cage that encircles me. Trying to swim past the hands that bind
me I searching for the distant star that will warm my tired chilled bones
and will fill me with the warmth of youth that I’ve once known.
