Place: My den, out walnut framed bay windows

Idea for the work:
I used available light and shot this image through an architectural glass block against a dark wood window frame that looks out onto my lakeside back yard. The glass block, with its irregularities, warps the image behind it. Using photo gram techniques in the darkroom and finally hand coloring the print is how I created "Madcap."

The title, "Madcap" comes from the central figure that to me looks like a "man with a wide open mouth" suggesting screaming or yelling. "He" looks like he has a "cap" on. He is spotlighted. The figures surrounding him could have many interpretations; a "nipple" on the right, a "creature with arms" upper left?
