Photography has for too long been defined by the code of its Masters. They worked for hours, with the highest quality, large format cameras. Then after many more hours locked away in custom designed darkrooms, controlled temperature chemicals and dozens of test prints … their enlargers would burn the final print. And we are to this day amazed at their artistry.

A new breed of photographers is emerging. We pursue photography as a digital art form. Every step of the artistic adventure evolves through a digital means. Our brush & canvas is often Photoshop. Sometimes the photos are still pure light & form … often they involve many levels/layers of images, color manipulation, corrections or even elements not of a photographic nature. Art is first seen in the minds eye. Traditional photographers capture a moment … digital artists attempt to reproduce a vision.
