This image begins as a multiply toned black and white silver print ( that is part of a series). This kind of darkroom manipulation is difficult to reproduce so I chose to scan a copy transparency and output the image as an iris print. As a commercial photographer I frequently return to classic themes for personal work. I attempt to bring the same aesthetic integrity to my commercial and fine art work.
