SKIN 2003 part 2 index

Two Native American men stand naked together overlooking a canyon. My goal with this work was to create an image that has rarely been depicted. I want the viewer to feel the bond between these men. But also to let the viewer draw their own conclusions as to the relationship between the figures. Are they friends, lovers, brothers? To me the canyon represents the emptiness of being alone and how we must all face that aloneness even if we are with someone.
