The human form and natural light are the most common
and the most extraordinary elements of figure photography. With those
two elements, photographers create images that awaken the possibilities
around us. Shade and form are fused by natural light in Byzantine geometry
on the canvas of the body. Natural light is time sensitive; sunlight will
not be harnessed low in the sky. It moves quickly to rise and scream brightly
overhead.
But, when the model arrives early in those early
morning moments, the light bathes the body in its most special way.
